Casting Call Details
Project: A major production (which we all know is
Sistas Season 9).
Looking for: African-American newborns, no more than three months old.
Preference: A set of triplets but open to twins and single babies.
Filming Location: Atlanta.
Now, before y’all start freaking out-triplets?! Are they really about to make Karen have triplets? And is Zach going to be the father of two out of the three? Or is there another unknown baby daddy?

Honestly, I didn’t know what to think at first, but after reading the comments, I realized that this isn’t uncommon. Productions often cast multiple babies for a single role because, well-babies cry! If one gets fussy, they can easily swap them out with another.
So, What Does This Mean for the Show?
No, I don’t think Karen is having triplets. And no, I don’t think they’re going to throw another baby on Zach’s plate.
Right now, he’s already dealing with:
Michael-one of Karen’s babies.
Fatima’s pregnancy.
So let’s not panic over the “triplets” or “twins” part just yet!
It’s safe to assume that when we finally get promotional photos for Sistas Season 9—probably around May or June
—Ebony (Karen) will be in them, and she won’t have a baby bump. Thank goodness! We can finally move past this pregnancy storyline.
Will Karen Be in Season 9?
Some people were freaking out about why Karen wasn’t in the July return announcement photo for Season 9. But let’s clear this up: Ebony simply wasn’t at that event-that’s all.
What’s Next?
Karen will have her babies.
We’ll likely see the babies in a couple of episodes.
Hopefully, we can move past this whole double baby daddy situation.
Personally, I wouldn’t mind a time skip. Let’s just start Season 9 a few months after Season 8 ends and be done
with it! Can you imagine if:

…but she doesn’t give birth until the mid-season finale of Season 9?!
